PTG Meeting Minutes
November 3, 2008

Principal Report:
Parent Teacher conferences are set up for November 24th and 25th, please be sure your conference time is convenient with your schedule. The 2nd through 8th grade ITBS test scores are in and results will be discussed at your conference. There are many new features for the teachers and school to monitor student progress.
The school has a Sock Drive going from November 3rd through December 12th. There is also a Coat Drive from November 3rd through the 7th. We will be supporting the St. Vincent de Paul with Thanksgiving baskets made by the students on November 21st. Please check the weekly notes for your class donations which are due by November 20th.
Gift Wrap/Catalog Sale Update:
The parents that volunteered for the Gift Wrap/Catalog sale said there were far less errors this year which helped to make the event such a success. Orders were filled correctly and if there were problems the company quickly sent out any missing products.
Spring Cookie Dough Sale:
Due to popular demand, the PTG will host a spring cookie dough sale this year. Please be on the look out for flyers announcing this new event. Gina Jacobs and Tresa Davis will chair the event and will be seeking parent volunteers.
Breakfast With Santa Update:
There will be a meeting at the Hercules Library on Monday November 10th at 6:00 pm. There are many people that have volunteered to help with this event and there are still a few committees that need your help. Please contact Yvette Medina or Michelle Vella or come to the meeting to sign up. It is a great way to earn your parent participation hours at a fun filled event!
Auction Update:
Loretta Airoldi and her co-chairs have been hard at work getting ready for the auction. The deadline for your donations is December 5th. Please check the school website at http://teacherweb.com/CA/StPatrickSchool-Rodeo/StPatrickAuction/h4.stm for your individual class ideas and suggestions.
Event Summary Reports:
We are still waiting on Event Summary Reports from Back to School events for the Back to School Picnic, Family Fun Night and Jog-A-Thon from 2008. Please be sure to e-mail these to Drew Coverson as soon as possible at ldccoverson@msn.com.
Treasurer’s Report:
The PTG account currently has a balance of $24,849.17.
